Wrong Punctuation !

Dear Friends,

This advertisement has lost its charm due to a mistake in the punctuation.

Full stop has been put in the headline at wrong places. Due to this the charm of a nice headline is lost.

I feel that punctuation was not required at all.

Without the mistake, this would have sounded as if some close friend is telling this to you and that too in a very convincing manner. With the mistake it seems as if an unknown person is trying hard to convince. The connect with the reader which could have been established has not been possible.

This ad is of Half page size in colour.  This ad which is published in Sandesh today costs  ` 8,10,000/- for all Gujarat Edition.

Friends do keep visiting aroundahmedabad.blogspot.com

nikil,

I think these are the common mistakes.

I remember one advertisement Published in Pune and that too Full Page in Indian Express and Sakal times in Pune while cyg games were held. They had used the word "Unavailing" the statue of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Thanks for visiting the blog and putting in your comment.

Agree that this is a common mistake. But look at other Brands and Agencies behind these mistakes covered in the blog. They are quite big and reputed known names which is something alarming. It gives a feeling that no one cares.

The objective here is to highlight that though Brands which are quite big and some even at multinational level, are becoming careless.

A small mistake but you are never sure sometimes it might end up with a damage at a very mega scale.
