An ad related to Winter in APRIL!!!

Friends,

Scorching heat with the maximum temperatures touching 44 degrees and even more in some cities of Gujarat... What will happen if you advertise about a product for problems related to eyes, that might occur during Winter??

The timing  and headline of this ad has gone wrong and it would definitely affect the response. The advertisement is printed in Gruhshobha (Gujarati) - April 2011 issue.

Do keep on visiting aroundahmedabad.blogspot.com for more such posts.

Pronounce it correctly... you will advertise it correctly...

Friends,

Here is an ad where the pronunciation of the word "CLEANSER" is written wrongly..

The advertiser advises Hair Cleanser against Shampoo but while doing so they have not taken care with the main and important word.

The mistake could work against them since the reader might pronounce the word in the same wrong way while buying the product and could end up being embarrassed if he is corrected in front of other people standing at the outlet. You can judge what would happen next!

Ads such as these should get specially proof -checked..

Dear Friends,

Here is an ad published today in Divya Bhaskar where there is a mistake in the total number of years that has been completed to the birth of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Instead of 120, the total years has been mentioned as 12!

This has happened while translation of the ad since the same ad in another local newspaper has correct matter..

ISKO LAGA DALA TO PEECHE REH GAYA SALA!

Dear Friends,

What would happen when you are glued in front of the screen watching the cricket match LIVE between India and Pakistan and at that moment suddenly even before the ball is delivered, you hear the neighbours shouting 4 or a 6 or OH…and you come to know the same thing after few seconds? You feel as if you are left out…The delayed transmission on the DISH TV is the reason for this feeling.

It hardly matters when you watch the daily soaps. But when you are watching the important LIVE TELECAST of matches of the world cup or the ongoing IPL the feeling is different. You feel as if you are late, left out and behind the others … and that too those others who give comparatively low transmission quality. At such a time you would probably agree to do away with the transmission quality but not be late because of the satellite signal..

Many of you might have experienced this. Do write in your comments and experiences.
