Translation Blooper - Fedral Bank

Dear Friends,

This is a Translation Blooper in an ad by Fedral Bank. There was an ad yesterday by the bank in The Economic Times - both English and Gujarati Language. To compare I have put both the versions English and Gujarati.

There is a mistake in the translation of the word "Perfect" which has been translated  as "અચૂક" which is not correct in the ad's context.

The word "Perfect" though it is an English word would have made more sense here in the ad, since it also aligns with the bank's positioning line "Your Perfect Banking Partner" Many a times such exceptions of putting English words are taken by Gujarati Creative writers, to take care that the ad's meaning does not change.

Blooper - Dhatri Hair Protector

Dear Friends,

This ad of Dhatri Hair Protector has been published today in Gujarat Samachar. It has errors in almost every line of the headline as well as the body copy.

The mistake is related to a letter "ર" which is missing everywhere. It could be a problem relating to the font or a problem while making the pdf of the layout.

Due to this mistake the body copy and headline has some words which has no meaning while some have changed to words with entirely different meaning.

Do send in your comments and keep visiting the blog for more such bloopers.

Blooper in "Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah - Navratri Special Episode"

Friends,

Most of you in India might have watched this Navratri Special Episode of Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma. Specially the Gujarati friends.

In the Navratri Special there was a Blooper in the beginning of the episode when there was a scene of a full moon which was shown while as per the script they said it was the first day of Navratri at Gokuldham Society.

For the information of my friends in other countries apart from India, normally first day of Navratri does not have a full moon and Navratri which means 9 nights begins with the first day of Lunar Calendar. Full Moon is the "Sharad Purnima" (Purnima - full moon) day comes after Navratri is over.

I will soon upload the video of the Episode.

Do send in your comments.
