Error in Company Name!!
Dear Friends,
Here is an ad where there is an error in the company name in the recruitment advertisement published today in Gujarat Samachar - Ahmedabad.
The name of the company should be double checked while releasing an advertisement. Specially when the Brand Name is also associated with the company name.
I would again like to reiterate the need of proof readers (a post which now is rarely heard of / advertised as a requirement) Errors such as these could be avoided with their help.
Do send in your comments. I will put up a voting section on the blog in relation to the proof readers and invite your opinion for the same.
Regards
Nikhil Joshi

Small Typo
Dear Friends,
Mine is one of those blogs where it feels good if the postings are not on a regular basis and longer the gap between two posts the better.
The reason, as you might have guessed correctly, is that there are less typos and translation errors / advertising bloopers that I have come across.
I am specially thankful to the friends who have been calling me, sending the bloopers or bringing them to my notice so that I could post them here. In a way they also have been partners in the effort to save money for companies.
Here is a small typo in the spelling of the word "support" written in Gujarati.
Do keep on visiting the blog and also send in your comments and suggestions so that this blog could be improved.

Is this Issued in Public Interest???
Friends,
I did not mark any of the words or sentences while posting the ad because in this one there is hardly any word that could make sense. This is a waste of money.
The headline has 6 mistakes out of the total 8 words written in it!!
The body copy has 24 words in it and out of that 17 words are wrong!!
The closing line has all the 7 words which have been written incorrectly!!
Except for the words and address which is written in English the words translated here are having no meaning at all.
The irony is that this ad has been issued in public interest and one cannot understand what is written!!!
Regards
Nikhil

Here comes another Massage... Ooops Message..
e-mailer |
Website |
e-mailer |
Here is another e-mailer which has come with so many bloopers.
First, the subject of the email is related to "Prime Properties in Haridwar" while this email relates to herbal products.
Second As you scroll the spelling of the word "success" has a mistake and then still further spelling of the word "bottles" has a mistake in two places while writing it correctly at one place.
Further when we go to the website mentioned in the email, an important word "Message" has been written as "Massage" The link relates to President of the company a very important person of the organisation. If you do not take care mistakes could really become a problem.
Please send in your comments and suggestions.
Regards
Nikhil Joshi
