3 Different Versions to the same news!!

Dear Friends

Its a story today on the Front Page in Ahmedabad Mirror, Page 3 in The Times of India and also in Gujarat Samachar, Sandesh and Divya Bhaskar today - All leading dailies of Ahmedabad.

It is about a lady who jumped into the Sabarmati river and was saved.

The reports are carried by the 3 Vernaculars of Ahmedabad with a same version that "Fire Brigade saved the lady"

Ahmedabad Mirror in a Front Page Story says that she was saved by a person who repairs Air Conditioners and the poor guy lost his bicycle and his AC repairing kit while he was doing his bit as a good Samaritan.

The Times of India in its report says that the lady was saved by an Auto Rickshaw Driver!!.

Now... it remains to be seen who is right? All different versions to the same news. Two dailies of the same group The Times of India and Ahmedabad Mirror also have a different version!!

Translation Blooper - Fedral Bank

Dear Friends,

This is a Translation Blooper in an ad by Fedral Bank. There was an ad yesterday by the bank in The Economic Times - both English and Gujarati Language. To compare I have put both the versions English and Gujarati.

There is a mistake in the translation of the word "Perfect" which has been translated  as "અચૂક" which is not correct in the ad's context.

The word "Perfect" though it is an English word would have made more sense here in the ad, since it also aligns with the bank's positioning line "Your Perfect Banking Partner" Many a times such exceptions of putting English words are taken by Gujarati Creative writers, to take care that the ad's meaning does not change.

Blooper - Dhatri Hair Protector

Dear Friends,

This ad of Dhatri Hair Protector has been published today in Gujarat Samachar. It has errors in almost every line of the headline as well as the body copy.

The mistake is related to a letter "ર" which is missing everywhere. It could be a problem relating to the font or a problem while making the pdf of the layout.

Due to this mistake the body copy and headline has some words which has no meaning while some have changed to words with entirely different meaning.

Do send in your comments and keep visiting the blog for more such bloopers.

Blooper in "Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah - Navratri Special Episode"

Friends,

Most of you in India might have watched this Navratri Special Episode of Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasma. Specially the Gujarati friends.

In the Navratri Special there was a Blooper in the beginning of the episode when there was a scene of a full moon which was shown while as per the script they said it was the first day of Navratri at Gokuldham Society.

For the information of my friends in other countries apart from India, normally first day of Navratri does not have a full moon and Navratri which means 9 nights begins with the first day of Lunar Calendar. Full Moon is the "Sharad Purnima" (Purnima - full moon) day comes after Navratri is over.

I will soon upload the video of the Episode.

News Blooper in Ahmedabad Mirror

Dear Friends,

Here is a news blooper in Ahmedabad Mirror.

There seems to be a mistake in the surname in the last portion of the news. If it is an error, then it must be rectified through a correction, as it relates to a news pertaining to a crime.
